From Rewind

What is Rewind?

If you ask me, “What kind of bar is Rewind?”

I think it is not just a place to have a drink.

We have always liked this feeling of familiarity.

The aroma of a cup of tea, the taste of something eaten in childhood, a song not heard in a long time, or even just a scene that seems familiar can suddenly make a person think of a period of time, a place, or someone they have not thought of in a long time.

This is also where the name Rewind comes from.

We have put the Asian culture and memories of everyday life that are familiar to us back into this space. We do this not to copy the past, but to tell those stories worth remembering once again, in a contemporary way.

That is why, across our drinks menu, you will taste tea, spices, familiar cooking ingredients, and many Asian flavors; you will also discover that we especially like using tea to tell stories.

That is because, to us, tea has never been just a flavor.

It is present at the table, in hospitality, at festivals, and in everyday life, and has accompanied Asian culture for a long time. When it enters a cocktail, we hope to retain not just the aroma of tea, but the culture and memories behind it.

If you come from Asia, perhaps you will find some familiar fragments here.

If you come from a different culture, then we would be glad to pour you a drink and slowly share this with you.

This is Rewind.

A place that lets us encounter familiar flavors again, and lets different cultures get to know one another.

Some memories are worth returning to. Rewind, and taste them again.
